Delivery /Membership details : Just as different people have different likes/ dislikes in their choice of reading material, so do different people read differently. Some read to pass time between activities, some are dinner readers and some prefer to unwind from a long day with a book in bed. Some are heavy readers, preferring to finish a book at one sitting, while other like to read and re-read sections absorbing the story line like a connoisseur would drink tea or eat chocolate absorbing the flavors before swallowing.
To cater to the different tastes , styles and reading speeds we offer the following borrowing options :

Registration Fees:
A one time registration fees of Rs. 200/ will be charged .
Members have the option of paying on quarterly basis or on annual basis and avail of a 5% discount on quarterly payment and 10% discount on annual payment.

• Books may be borrowed for 2 weeks at one time.
• Members may renew books for a period of 2 more weeks by sending us an e-mail or calling at our land line
• Members may borrow books from any section/ genre.
• The library’s home delivery option does not cover any magazines / periodicals. How-ever non-current editions of selected magazines are available and may be borrowed at no extra cost.

Borrowing Proceedure:

• Members will be issued a printed catalog on registering. The catalog will list all books by Genere and by Author. Members may select books from the catalog or use the Catalog section of site www.thebookcollection.net to select books for reading.
• Members may call / email their request for books, from the library catalogue.
• Library will call back/ email to confirm availability of the requested books. In case the desired book is not immediately available the library will inform member accordingly and the member may choose another book.
• The requested books will be hand-delivered.
• The books will carry a stamped return due date.
• Read books will be collected on the day of the next delivery.
